NEW YORK – Two window cleaners are miraculously alive after the platform they were working from collapsed from a height of 37 stories in Manhattan.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 am, at Building 30 at Hudson Yards, in the Chelsea area. According to the report, the workers miraculously fell into a structure that was on the 35th floor, 20 feet deep. Both were rescued by firefighters and transported to Bellevue Hospital.
One of them is in serious but stable condition, while the other suffered only minor injuries.
The cause of the accident and the identity of the workers are still unknown.
