The Platea theater group, from Tomelloso, has closed its outstanding theater season in 2023 with a flourish by obtaining four prestigious awards at the XXII Zorita Amateur Theater Contest (Cáceres).
After his successful performance in El Sauzal (Tenerife) with the play “La Doubt”, Platea Teatro moved to Zorita to participate in the contest, where his talent and dedication were widely recognized.
The group from Tomellos not only took the coveted First Prize of the contest, but also won the Audience Award, the Best Actress Award for Beatriz Muñoz, for her moving interpretation of the role of “Sister Luisa”, and the Award for Best Actor awarded to Alberto Palacios.
The play “La Doubt” has proven to be a great success for Platea Teatro over the last few months, and its triumph at Zorita is a testament to the group’s talent and effort. These awards are not only a recognition of Platea’s work, but also a source of pride for the theater community of Tomelloso.
