Very committed to the development of hydrogen, the new frontier of the automotive industry, the automotive supplier Plastic Omnium has just created the post of Director of Sustainable Development.
The first incumbent is David Meneses who joins the Management Committee of Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE.

The new director’s roadmap: “formalize the Group’s carbon neutrality policy and integrate circular economy issues into the solutions offered to car manufacturers.”
Hydrogen and sustainable development, David Meneses knows well since he held the post of Director of Sustainable Development at Air Liquide since 2017, one of the main players in hydrogen in France, where he has helped to structure actions in this area. CSR (corporate social responsibility), in particular by developing the Group’s first climate objectives.
Throughout his career at Air Liquide, which began in 1996, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the fields of R&D, business development, sales and marketing, operations control and strategic planning, both in France than in Japan.
He was then director of the Industrial Gas activity in the United States, after having supervised Air Liquide’s activities in Central America.
Aged 47, David Meneses is a graduate of the School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry of the city of Paris (ESPCI) and holds a DEA in Process Engineering.
