Libreville, August 3, 2023 (AGP) – Régis Nang Nang, winner of the 2023 Plastic Bottle Challenge, was rewarded on Thursday, alongside other winners, during the closing ceremony dedicated to this environmental competition, organized at the industrial zone. special (ZIS) of Nkok.

This year again, the second edition of the competitionPlastic bottle challenge“, rewarded the best collectors of Grand-Libreville. The amounts allocated vary from 500,000 FCFA for first place on the podium, followed by 200,000 FCFA and 50,000 FCFA for 3rd place. Régis Nang Nang, big winner of this 2nd edition, shared his modus operandi. He was rewarded with a total sum of 1,500,000 FCFA for having triumphed in 3 districts of the commune of Libreville.

« It must be recognized that out of 100% of the waste we produce on a daily basis, 79 percent ends up in watersheds and beaches. So they were my sites.“, he confided while adding that it is a group work.
