Levin Management Corporation (LMC), which manages both properties, announced that the popular gym franchise will be setting up shop at Blue Star shopping Center in Watchung and middlesex Corner in Middlesex Borough.
At Blue Star Shopping Center,Planet Fitness will occupy a spacious 21,850 square feet within the 420,000-square-foot retail center located on Route 22. The center is currently undergoing a major redevelopment spearheaded by LMC, with additional leasing opportunities ranging from 1,200 to 50,000 square feet.
Meanwhile, at Middlesex Corner, Planet Fitness will take over half of the freestanding building that was previously home to Acme on Route 28/Bound Brook Road.
Both new locations will be owned and operated by the same franchisee who already oversees dozens of Planet fitness gyms across New Jersey and other markets.
