Lamborghini Huracán Evo is a new addition to the fleet of company car staff at Bologna Airport. It will guide aircraft here during taxiing until January 2022.

The carmaker’s special department properly modified the car for these purposes. The matte green Verde Turbine paint is complemented by orange elements and the inscription “folow me in our beautiful country”, ie “follow me in our beautiful country”, which is a common slogan for cars of this type. There are also beacons and an antenna for connection to the control tower.

From a technical point of view, the car remains standard. For the Evo version, which is the previous year’s facelift, the engine that has been strengthened is essential. There is still an atmospherically filled ten-cylinder to V. It still has a displacement of 5.2 liters.

However, the power and torque values, 630 horsepower and 600 newton meters, correspond to the hardcore version of the Performante that appeared before the facelift. Thanks to higher performance, even the standard variant can handle a hundred in less than three seconds, in 2.9 seconds. That’s three tenths better.

However, this car will certainly not achieve such numbers in its service, aircraft and therefore also cars intended for guidance move around the airport at a maximum speed of approximately 50 km / h.

Gugliem Marconi Airport in Bologna has one runway, a small terminal and last year handled about 8.5 million passengers, about half compared to the airport in Prague’s Ruzyne.
