The dead are a truck driver and the pilot of the aircraft – a cardiologist from Arizona
At least two people have died after a small twin-engine plane crashed in a residential area near San Diego, NBC News reports. There are burned houses and cars.
One of the victims is a UPS driver. The Express Delivery Company confirmed that its truck was destroyed in the accident and the driver died. The pilot of the flying machine, a cardiologist from Arizona, was the second victim in the accident.

Dr. Das was also the owner of the plane, according to the Yuma Regional Medical Center.

“As an exceptional cardiologist and a man devoted to his family, Dr. Das leaves a lasting legacy,” the hospital said in a statement.
Two people were injured and taken to local hospitals.
