REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG — A plane reportedly crashed in a tea plantation area in Ciwalini, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, Sunday (28/8/2023). The video about the burning plane is circulating in the whatsapp group.
In the circulating video, a plane suspected of being a training aircraft caught fire in the Ciwalini tea plantation area, Rancabali, Bandung Regency. There is also a video showing a number of people and ambulances rescuing victims who are lying down.
Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo confirmed that an airplane had crashed in the Rancabali area of Bandung. He said he was currently on the scene.
“Yes (the plane crashed),” he confirmed, Sunday (28/5/2023).
The police chief has not yet specified the details of the plane that crashed. He said he was currently on his way to the location.
