Plane Carrying 72 People Crashes in Nepal!

The ATR plane of Yeti Airlines is reported to have crashed in Pokhara in Nepal. The plane was carrying a total of 72 people.

According to the Kathmandu Post and news agencies AFP, Sunday (15/1/2023), the plane was scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The plane was carrying 68 passengers and 4 crew.

The plane reportedly crashed between the old airport and Pokhara International Airport. This was conveyed by Sudarshan Bartaula as spokesperson for Yeti Airlines.

Photos and videos circulating on social media show puffs of smoke from the point where the plane crashed. The rescue team is currently heading to the location by helicopter.
