‘Plan would save at least 120,000 cancer cases by 2045’

UTRECHT – If the so-called Dutch Cancer Agenda works as planned by the partner organisations, it could save at least 120,000 cancer diagnoses in the period up to and including 2045 The number of adults who smoke in the Netherlands must then fall to 5 percent by 2032 and no one will start the habit again, as stated in the agenda.
