‘Blood plasma not donated for nothing’

Amsterdam – A year ago, thousands of ex-corona patients in our country queued at blood bank Sanquin to donate plasma that would be made into a potentially life-saving drug against Covid-19 for vulnerable people. “We have to admit that this has failed,” says Professor of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Hans Zaaijer.
