The Hague – While the prices for citizens are skyrocketing, the cabinet is stalling with solutions for purchasing power repair. It will take a few more weeks before the Netherlands knows whether and how the setbacks for the wallet will be compensated. And then it remains to be seen whether those measures will have an immediate effect. Economists are sure to list options: from higher housing allowance to lower petrol excise duties.
