“I think you can write an average assessment of the cabinet. There are many topics that remained untouched – the most striking case was the directive on minimum wages. But in many other areas the necessary things were done to maintain the systems,” said the president of KNSB Plamen Dimitrov in the studio of “Day Live” on NOVA NEWS.
According to him, “it will be difficult” to determine the budget for 2025 by the official authority and this will be a test for the work of the cabinet.
“BGN 1,077 will become the minimum wage. This is valid legislation – there is no policy, the law adopted more than a year ago is simply being applied,” he added. According to him, this amount is far from “covering the necessary income for the life of Bulgarians”.
“I am convinced that the minimum wage will be such on January 1. This will give an impetus to increase income. Let’s not forget that, although the average salary has passed 1000-1100 euros, 770 thousand Bulgarians receive less than this amount. This is what the official data show,” explained Dimitrov.
