NEW YORK – After being postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tokyo Olympics are officially underway. They look a little different this year as spectators are not being allowed into the stadiums. This doesn’t mean that New Yorkers should miss out on the action.

Rooftop Reds organizes parties to watch the Tokyo Olympics, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8pm to midnight. Fans can enjoy the Olympics on its 100% solar-powered outdoor cinema screen, along with stunning views of the city. Tickets are $ 20 and include a box of water and popcorn. There is a minimum consumption of two drinks.
Time Out Market It will screen the games every day until August 8. Market bars will offer a special drink to commemorate the occasion: the “Tokyo Sunrise” cocktail made with Haku vodka, sake sour, lime, simple syrup, grenadine and star anise.
Boxers HK is an LGBTQIA + friendly bar with a 1,500 square foot terrace and 20 televisions. They will screen all the Olympic action until August 8.
The Grafton in the East Village you have personal televisions at each of your picnic tables, so you never have to worry about bad eyesight. They also serve lunches on the weekends where you can take advantage of the $ 7 Bloody Marys.
The Ribbon is your place to enjoy an Instagram-worthy dining experience. This upscale restaurant has a wide selection of entree options, even for the most discriminating Olympian fans.
