IFK Värnamo currently tops the Superettan – and has a good chance of advancing to the top league. On the other hand, IFK Gothenburg is fighting to stay in the Allsvenskan.
On its website, the Swedish Football Association has an article about the dramatic end that can be expected in Sweden’s second highest series. “How does the super one end” is the headline.
The whole thing has been decorated with pictures of IFK Gothenburg.
– Hahaha. I have too bad eyes, jokes IFK’s coach Mikael Stahre when Aftonbladet shows the article to him, before he blames that the association’s photo editors are “uninitiated”.
Mistake or not, IFK Gothenburg has important matches ahead of them to secure the Allsvenskan contract. They currently have the same points as Degerfors in the qualifiers. However, they are on safe ground thanks to a better goal difference.
