TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Prosperous Justice Party or PKS revealed that there is a general chairman (ketum) of a political party (parpol) who wants to join the Coalition for Change as long as they become a vice presidential candidate (Cawapres) Anies Baswedan. It is known, the Coalition for Change has agreed to carry Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate (Capres) 2024.
“Now there are several party leaders who want to meet, which they then require that the chairman generally wants to become vice presidential candidate,” said Deputy Chairman of the PKS Shura Council Sohibul at the Secretariat for Change, South Jakarta on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Sohibul revealed that the political party chairmen were outside the coalition members. He said that so far the three coalition parties have indeed communicated with other parties.
