DPP National Awakening Party (PKB) officially announced that they had joined the government of the elected president and vice president, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. This is according to the results of the VI Conference of the party held in Bali.
The Deputy General Secretary of PKB DPP, Syaiful Huda, said that this agreement was also taken at the request of the muktamirin, who came from the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) and the Regional Leadership Council (DPW). He said PKB would support the future Prabowo-Gibran government.
“The decision of the Congress is that PKB officially joins and supports the government of Prabowo Subianto with Gibran Rakabuming Raka,” Huda said at a press conference after Congress closed, Sunday ( 25/8/2024).

He said this is the official position of PKB. The results of the negotiations have been approved by the participants of Congress VI.
“So, if it has not been fundamental in this conference so far, we will emphasize the political position of PKB,” said Huda.
“Locally, the PKB has agreed that PKB will join as part of the Prabowo-Gibran government,” he said.
