Politician PDIP Deddy Sitorus assesses that those who most want two axes to occur in the 2024 presidential election are PKB. Deddy said this was because the issue of the two axes was first revealed by PKB Deputy Chief Jazilul Fawaid.
“If I look at it, the issue of the two axes emerged from the PKB, yes, in my opinion, it is the most likely thing to create two axes, in my opinion, PKB, yes,” said Deddy in a discussion on Total Politics, at Warung WOW, South Jakarta, Saturday. (23/9/2023).
Deddy thinks that the two-axis issue revealed by Jazilul is a sign. So, according to him, the one most likely to create two axes is PKB.
“This issue suddenly arose, right? Jazilul was the first to talk about two axles, it could be a turn signal, you want to turn left but you can do that on the right. So the most likely thing is to make two axles in my opinion, PKB,” he said.
Furthermore, he said, it was impossible for NasDem to abandon presidential candidate Anies Baswedan to create two axes. According to him, this most likely happened at PKB.
Because, if PKB leaves the Change Coalition, what remains will be NasDem and PKS. Meanwhile, NasDem and PKS cannot get a presidential election ticket if they only form a coalition of two parties.
“NasDem must maintain its honor, from the start it has determined Mr Anies, when he jumps the fence it is dangerous. So it is most likely PKB in my opinion, maybe this is the signal,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Deddy said that if PKS were in the Change Coalition, Anies voters would not 100% support NasDem. He then assessed that even in the Change Coalition, PKB seemed uncomfortable with PKS.
“This could be a threat to NasDem. PKS continues to be in the AMIN coalition, because it has to share Anies’ electoral blessings, right? It’s an open secret, Anies voters don’t go 100% to NasDem if there is PKS. But if PKS leaves, 100% of Anies voters go to NasDem,” he explained.
“Including the fact that PKB doesn’t feel comfortable having PKS in it, marrying the sarong and cingkrang groups is still complicated,” he added.
Previously it was known that Jazilul Fawaid suddenly mentioned the possibility of the 2024 presidential election with only 2 axes participating.
“Yes, of course I have to respect the sovereignty of the Democratic Party. I hope that everyone in the presidential election will compete healthily. I hope that the presidential election will also be an arena for competing track records, ideas, not just exchanging votes,” said Jazilul to reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan. , Jakarta, Monday (18/9).
Jazilul then gave his views on the number of axes in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, it is likely that there will only be 2 axes in the next presidential election.
“No, there isn’t, I don’t necessarily see it personally. It’s not certain that there are 3 axes, it could be 2 axes, we’ll wait later,” said Jazilul.
