“PKB Chairman Cak Imin Receives Political Advice from Former Vice President Hamzah Haz”

Chairman (Ketum) of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin explained the discussion with the 9th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Hamzah Haz this morning. Cak Imin admitted that he received a lot of political advice.

“Of course I got a lot of things, especially Pak Hamzah Haz’s experiences as a fighter for NU, a political fighter who reached parliament and eventually became vice president,” said Cak Imin after the meeting at Hamzah Haz’s residence on Jalan Tegalan, Matraman, East Jakarta , Thursday (11/5/2023).

Cak Imin even admits that he bluntly asked Hamzah Haz about how to become president. Cak Imin also received advice from Hamzah Haz.

“I asked him frankly how to become president, I was given his prayers, I was given the struggle and the methods. God willing, I will practice it,” he said.

Furthermore, Cak Imin admitted that Hamzah Haz had left a message to maintain the fighting spirit of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) citizens in political affairs in the country.

“One of the things that was entrusted to me was that he entrusted NU’s struggle in politics to be very, very noble and to be carried out in earnest,” added Cak Imin.
