PKB with the Party NasDem agreed to form the winning national team of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin (AMIN). PKB and the NasDem Party also agreed that the name of the coalition would remain the Change Coalition.
“The name of the coalition of the pair Anies Baswedan and Gus Imin is the Change Coalition,” said PKB Secretary General Hasanuddin Wahid after a consolidation meeting at the PKB DPP, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (13/9/2023).
“Secondly, thank God, we have also created, decided, decided, we will create the AMIN winning national team. So the name is the AMIN Winning National Team (Coalition for Change),” he continued.
Hasanuddin said the AMIN National Winning Team would be the backbone in gaining community support. He said that AMIN’s winning National Team members would be determined later.
Hasanuddin also said that AMIN’s winning national team captain would not come from PKB or NasDem. He said that there had been several name suggestions for the captain of the AMIN Winning National Team.
“Names and so on, God willing, the captain will definitely make the media happy. Certainly not from PKB or NasDem, God willing, the captain will be from outside these two parties,” he explained.
The most important thing, he said, is that the captain who will lead will be a figure who reflects diversity. He said that the figure of the captain would certainly be a surprise.
“The captain is the one who can reflect that diversity, and secondly can ensure this pair wins. If the captain who can’t ensure this pair wins isn’t the captain, that’s catch,” he explained.
Meanwhile, PKB Deputy Chief Hanif Dakhiri said that this evening PKB and NasDem had just agreed on the criteria for members of the AMIN Winning National Team. He said members of the AMIN National Winning Team would also involve various elements.
“Regarding the personnel who will fill it tonight, we only discussed the general criteria. But the point is that the National Team will involve a number of figures from across mass organizations, across professions, across religions, then female figures, millennial generation figures, generation z figures. , then cross-sectoral figures,” he said.
