PK in luge will return to St. Moritz track / Day after a nine-year break

According to the International Luge Federation (FIL), the competition will take place from February 4 to 6.

In February 2021, the final stage and practice of the World Cup was to be hosted at the Beijing Olympic Games in Yanchin, but the stage was canceled due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and related travel restrictions.

Consequently, the 2020/2021 season will be spent only on European tracks.

The St. Moritz track, which is rebuilt every year, has not hosted the World Cup in luge since January 2012. Nine years ago, the Latvian national team did not start in St. Moritz.

Last year, the European Junior Championships took place on the Swiss track, and this year – the Youth Winter Olympics.
