Miralem Pjanic come back to talk about Juventus. The former Juventus midfielder, a fundamental player for the Old lady from 2016 to 2020 (before moving to Barcelona in the exchange with Arthur), was a guest on the podcast Aperitif in which he touched on various themes. Initially Miralem wanted to talk about the comparison between Ronaldo e Messi: “I played with Cristiano for two years, with Messi only one. It goes without saying who I am, I was perhaps lucky enough to exploit Ronaldo more with whom we did great things together, even if Leo may be remembered as the strongest in history” and then focus on the coaches he has had in his career: “I have been lucky enough to work with many excellent coaches. Luis Enrique, Allegri, Spalletti, Garcia, Xavi…“.
Pjanic: Sarri, Allegri and the Champions League
The Bosnian continued: “I had too Sarri who is a professor, crazy about football and who lives for it. He is extraordinary as a coach, he goes into great detail and you can see the work he is doing with Lazio. I really appreciated Allegri, I did three years in a row with him and they were the most important ones. I would take over the management of him, while my favorite style of play is that of Barcelona, I really enjoyed working with Xavi in those few months“. Subsequently, Pjanic spoke about his career regrets: “Obviously the Champions League, but unfortunately that’s how it is. The strongest win. TO Cardiff at half-time we were 1-1, then the details make the difference. The following year on the return leg we won 3-1 at the Bernabeu with a last-second penalty Benatia. In my opinion that foul could not have been called at that moment, it wasn’t a great penalty contact“.
