Harianjogja.com, BANTUL—H, 48, a resident of Kapanewon Patuk, Gunungkidul, reportedly died in the shelter parking lot of the former Patmasuri Hospital, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, Friday (9/7/2021) early morning.
Sewon Police Chief Kompol Suyanto said that initially H underwent a rapid antigen test and the results were positive, Thursday (8/7/2021) night.

However, the condition of H who had a history of diabetes mellitus worsened. H was rushed to the Covid-19 referral hospital in the city of Yogyakarta. Unfortunately, the hospital conditions in Yogyakarta are full.
“Finally, they were taken to the shelter of the former Patmasuri Hospital,” said Suyanto.
Unfortunately, H, who was still in the car at the shelter parking complex of the former Patmasuri Hospital, died before being treated. Even though he died, officers from the shelter of the former Patmasuri Hospital did not want to take the risk. H’s body was then tested rapid antigen and the result was positive for Covid-19.
“There was no protest from the family. The body has also been buried with the Covid-19 burial protocol,” explained the Sector Police Chief.
