BOSTON (AP) — Jerami Grant made the final basket and had 24 points for the Detroit Pistons, who snapped an eight-game losing streak by beating the Boston Celtics 112-111 on Wednesday night.
The Celtics had a nine-game winning streak snapped. Jayson Tatum had a chance to send Boston into the All-Star break on a 10-game winning streak, but he missed a shot that bounced off the rim.
Tatum scored nine of his 22 points in the fourth quarter.
Cade Cunningham had 20 points and had a key block in the final minute. Detroit hadn’t won since Jan. 30.
Grant completed the scoring with a shot with 19.1 minutes left.
