On the morning of this Sunday, September 10, two people in a vehicle were targeted by gunfire in the Pissevin district of Nîmes, where little Fayed, 10, died on August 21.
The Pissevin city of Nîmes is once again hitting the headlines. Two people, aged 28 and 32, were shot at around 7:45 a.m. this Sunday morning while they were in a vehicle, CNEWS learned.
The occupants of another car, traveling at full speed on Avenue des Arts, fired in the direction of a group of people, including the victims. Seventeen shell casings were found in a parking lot. The events occurred not far from where little Fayed, 10 years old, lost his life to a stray bullet on August 21.
According to information revealed to CNEWS by a police source, it was not the bullets fired that injured the two victims, but the shattering of the windows of the vehicle in which they were. The injuries of both men are minor.
A Peugeot 307, the suspected vehicle of the shooters, was found burned a few moments later, along a road north of Nîmes.
The Pissevin district is the site of numerous shootings, sometimes fatal as in the case of little Fayed, followed by the death of an 18-year-old teenager, which occurred on the night of August 23 to 24, two days after that of the little boy. .
