We remind you that shortly after 18:00 this evening, a car crashed near a public transport stop on Todor Aleksandrov Blvd. in Sofia. The police reported that according to initial data, there were five victims – three adults and two children.
The driver, 43 years old, is in the Military Medical Academy (MMA) with an injury to the chest, abdomen and spine. His companion, aged 20, is also in the hospital with a spinal injury.
The Ministry of the Interior reported that the driver probably lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed. His alcohol test was negative, he refused a drug test. The police indicated that he has a criminal record, with nearly 20 registrations, mainly for thefts, including cars. There are also nearly 10 traffic violations for speeding.
