Pirates team manager Daniel Davidsson, who has had Rasmus Broberg on the team for several seasons, says it was also a shock for him to receive the news that the drug test was positive.

Broberg, 28, self-medicated for ADHD and ended up wrong.
– When it gets a lot, I have a hard time concentrating, and that’s how it was now. Then I got advice from friends and acquaintances who have ADHD that I should try taking medicine to get rid of the problems. Then I decided to take the medicine without going to the doctor first, that was the mistake I made. I had no idea that the medicine contained a prohibited preparation, it was damn rude not to check it, she tells Motala Vadstena Tidning.
The suspension applies until August 28, 2025.
Broberg will now be undergoing an investigation for ADHD.
