In 2015, two more perpetrators of the attack were identified – Edward P. alias Kaczor and Gawła G., against whom the prosecutor filed an indictment. However, investigators still did not know who the fifth attacker was.
After the investigation was discontinued, anonymous information was obtained that the last perpetrator of the attack was Piotr G., pseudonym. Gula aka Gulczas. The prosecutor of the Masovian Branch of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw determined that in April 2013, “Gulczas” bought a 60-square-meter apartment in Warsaw for which he paid PLN 357,000. He brought the money to the bank and deposited it into the seller’s account.
According to information from the prosecutor’s office, in the years 2011-2013 Piotr G. did not submit PIT returns, so he had no income, while his wife had a low income that would not allow her to buy an apartment. Moreover, Marcin S. alias Molek and Piotr G. ps. Gula aka Gulczas already committed a robbery together in 2000, for which they were legally sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Piotr G. will appear in court for robbery with a firearm, theft of PLN 4.2 million and attempted murder of two escorts. The prosecutor’s office said he faces a life sentence. The man was temporarily arrested.
