Pinneberg district relaxes corona rules | NDR.de – News – Schleswig-Holstein

Status: 07.02.2021 7:44 p.m.

In the Pinneberg district, the numbers have gone down, so that stricter corona rules are being relaxed again. More than 96,000 people in Schleswig-Holstein received their first corona vaccination.

In Schleswig-Holstein, 282 new corona infections were recorded within one day. While the seven-day incidence has increased slightly in the entire state, it has recently decreased significantly in the Pinneberg district, which was previously particularly badly affected. After the corona rules were tightened there due to a seven-day incidence of more than 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, easing is now pending again. “It shows that the citizens to a very large extent behave in solidarity and have adhered to the rules. We therefore do not have to extend the stricter rules in the district,” said District Administrator Elfi Heesch.

Defined rules – but infection processes under close observation

This means that from Monday shopping is no longer limited to just one person per household, food and drinks can be picked up again at any time from catering establishments and the recreational areas Himmelmoor, Holmer Sandberge and Hetlinger Schanze can be re-entered for tourist reasons. Only the stricter rules for the elderly and care facilities would be upheld, “because the infection rate there is still very high”.

The designated areas with mask compulsory should also be retained. If the numbers rise again, further restrictions are possible, it said. The British mutation variant of the coronavirus had been detected in three cases in people from the district who tested positive. Six other suspected cases are currently being examined in the laboratory, the district said.

In the meantime, more than 96,000 people in Schleswig-Holstein have received their first corona vaccination. In addition, almost 28,000 of them now have full vaccination protection after the second vaccination. This is evident from the figures from the Robert Koch Institute on Saturday. This means that – in relation to the initial vaccination – around 3.3 percent of people are vaccinated. This puts Schleswig-Holstein above the national average of 2.7 percent.
