The Pingtung Marathon course is quite exciting. The 21-kilometer and 42-kilometer categories pass through the red and purple lines of the Rainbow Bike Trail, Victory Star Village, Heritage Park, Pingtung Sugar Factory and Liudui Hakka Cultural Park. At local special attractions, the competition also provided sea, land and air delicacies prepared by the head chef to replenish physical strength during the process, including ice rolls, beef platter, smoked tea goose and other delicacies. After the game, physiotherapists provided free lactic acid reduction and other services to the contestants. Physical therapy services provide runners with the highest level of enjoyment.

All-Malaysian men’s team Lin Yanzhu and women’s team Zhou Lingjun

Although the purpose of the event is to encourage sports, many runners still worked hard to achieve good results. The first place in the men’s marathon group was Lin Yanzhu, with a time of two hours, 41 minutes and 11 seconds, and the women’s group was Zhou Lingjun, with a time of three hours and two. At 11 minutes and 19 seconds, Xu Zhengzong ranked first in the men’s half marathon race, and Yang Guanling ranked first in the women’s race. This is a sports carnival that belongs to Pingtung, and the Ping County Government also hopes that people will challenge themselves and surpass their limits next year.

For 87-year-olds, the minimum age to participate is 2 years old

The Pingtung County Government stated that this year’s event has contestants from Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the United States coming to Taiwan to participate. The youngest contestant is two years old and the oldest is 87 years old. There are also representatives from well-known domestic and foreign companies. To celebrate the event, special arrangements were made for leading heavy-duty riders to clear the way for the contestants. The road running event also links to the cooperative stores of Victory Star Village to enjoy discounts.
