Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president K. Sudhakaran MP has asked the then party secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, who ordered former chief minister Oommen Chandy to stone the former chief minister Oommen Chandy who held a public relations program and attack the people, to criticize the UDF boycotted by the New Kerala audience.

The UDF was boycotted because there was no place for the poor in Pinarayi’s vision. In the public event held in Manjeswaram, the poor were placed on the outskirts. Not a single complaint was redressed or financial assistance of even a single rupee was given. Oommen Chandy has resolved 94,696 complaints in Kasaragod district during the public relations program conducted three times in 2011, 2013 and 2015. 11.94 crores were also distributed to the poor. He spent 47 hours with the poor in Kasaragod.

Pinarayi Vijayan gave an estimate in the Legislative Assembly that 11.45 lakh complaints were resolved and 242 crore rupees were spent in the total public relations program. However, Pinarayi Vijayan was not ready for such penance. His desire is to tie the Rajapart with a Benz vehicle and a turban. Even if he takes a hundred births, Pinarayi Vijayan cannot become Oommen Chandy.

Pinarayi Vijayan must have a lot of guts to ask if the UDF rule would have made the development we see today possible. Nothing has happened in Kerala except the introduction of UDF. Pinarayi Vijayan had no inclination to inaugurate Kochi Metro Rail, Kannur Airport and Vizhinjam Port brought by Oommen Chandy. Oommen Chandy’s name was not even mentioned.

The development that the Chief Minister is promoting is happening in the CPM and his family. People are dying in the homes of the poor in Kerala. Lottery vendor Gopi in Omallur, Paddy farmer Prasad in Thakazhi and Subramanian who wrote a letter to the Chief Minister in Wayanad died saying that we have failed. The CPM members threw stones at the house of the step-mother when she did not get pension. Sudhakaran also warned that if people don’t come down from Rajapart and wipe the tears of the people, history will not be left alone.
