Pilsen – Kladno 0:3, Jágr et al. they won in Pilsen and left the last place in the table

Thanks to the early dismissal of Zámorský, the guests employed Svoboda already in the second minute. The home team could not react forward even during the power play, so goalkeeper Brízgal made only two saves before the first break. At the beginning of the middle part, the Indians got up in game, but in the 25th minute, Blomstrand only hit the left post from the center of the circle during a penalty by Slováček. On the other hand, after a quick break, Pytlík increased Kladno’s lead to 2:0 from close range. The home team became uncertain again and only Svoboda’s acrobatic intervention against Babka’s finish into the open goal saved them from another disaster.

In the middle of the game, after a pass from Jágr, Plekanec, alone in front of the goal, missed and failed to beat Brízgala from Suchý’s angle on the counterattack. The Indians then failed to manage two power plays in quick succession, and shortly before the second siren, they were only lucky to survive Jágr’s exit from the back post and Filip’s swift shot from overcounting.

The expected Pilsen onslaught in the third period was soon spoiled by two expulsions, and in the 46th minute Jágro’s power play was stopped by the right post. The home coaches reduced the game to three attacks, but in the biggest opportunity, Beránek only hit Brízgala from the space between the circles.

The Knights actively guarded their lead and in the 55th minute, after a clever pass from Procházky, Indrák made it 3-0 after a backhand loop. Even a long power play did not help the Indians to an honorable success.
