Munich Because a 51-year-old man from the Netherlands refused to put on his mask at Munich Airport, the pilot rolled the plane back to the terminal.

A pilot in Munich canceled the start of a flight to South Africa because of a mask refuser on board. The 51-year-old passenger from the Netherlands sat down properly on his seat on Thursday evening, so that the pilot rolled towards the start position after boarding, the Munich airport police announced on Friday.

The unruly passenger did not want to wear the prescribed mouth and nose protection and vehemently refused to do so despite repeated requests by the cabin crew. When the pilot found out, he refused to take the man with him and returned to his assigned position with his plane.

According to the information, four police officers took the Dutch from the plane. While the plane then took off with a delay for South Africa, the officials took a complaint for a violation of the Aviation Security Act.
