JAKARTA – An Epidemiologist from the Faculty of Public Health, Airlangga University, Laura Navika Yamani, asked for the 2020 regional elections to be carried out with strict health protocols to prevent the spread of corona.
“Each stage of the Pikada must pay attention to aspects of the health protocol and be given supervision and evaluation of the activity taking place. The choice is that two regional elections are carried out with strict health protocols or canceled,” Laura told Okezone, Monday (21/9/2020).

He reminded that any object with activities outside would pose a risk of contamination with the sars-cov-2 virus that causes Covid-19.
“How then can these individuals keep each activity prioritizing cleanliness,” he explained.

Laura asked the public to always try to maintain a safe distance in outdoor activities and avoid crowds.
“If you combine all health protocols, anticipating the spread will be much more meaningful and will have a significant impact,” he said.
