Pilgrims from Majalengka who disappeared for two weeks found dead at the hospital, the Ministry of Religion suspects this is the cause

FAJAR.CO.ID, BANDUNG – The West Java Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has provided the latest information regarding the news of pilgrims from Majalengka Suharja (70), who disappeared while carrying out their abode at Arafah.

Suharja, who had been missing for more than two weeks, was found by hajj officials in Saudi Arabia.

However, Suharja was found dead in a hospital in Mina, Saudi Arabia.

“We found him, he was found dead at the Mina hospital,” said the Head of Hajj and Umrah Organization of the West Java Ministry of Religion, Boy Hari Novian, confirmed, Monday (17/7).

Boy explained, when he was found, Suharja was not wearing a marker bracelet that should always be used by pilgrims.

That’s why, after being found, Suharja’s wife was asked to come to Mina to make sure if the man was Suharja.

“Found because there was no identity bracelet, his wife who was already in Medina, was brought first to be sure. Found yesterday (Sunday),” he explained.

Boy also could not confirm the cause of Suharja’s death. He suspected that Suharja had a heart attack while carrying out a series of pilgrimages.

Next, Suharja’s body will be buried in the holy land.

“I don’t know yet, but if you look at the condition of the heart, you suspect it is the heart. It was immediately buried there,” he said. (jpnn/dawn)
