The second child of Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa was born a few days ago and the two even reveal the name, about which there was much speculation beforehand.
The third son for Pietro
After several separations, an engagement and the birth of their first child together in early 2023, the announcement of another pregnancy followed in April 2024. Pietro, who in addition to his son with Laura Maria also has his son Alessio from his marriage to Sarah Engels, has now become a father for the third time. It is Laura Maria’s second child.
The parents shared the wonderful news on Instagram that their little son has been born. In fact, I was doubly happy because when I first reported on the upcoming birth a few weeks ago, I already had a guess as to what the baby might be called. My hot tip: The choice could fall on the first name “Amelio”…
And indeed, the couple decided on the name
“We are incredibly happy to announce that our son Amelio Elija was born healthy,” the mother wrote on Instagram, confirming that the Italian boy’s name was indeed Amelio – in combination with “Elija” as a middle name. She further reveals: “Our hearts are filled with love and we enjoy the days and the time together. It’s so nice to see our family growing.”
