Colleagues’ grief

Now he is mourned by his colleagues at his restaurant.

“Once a boss, always a boss! It is with great sadness that we announce that the chef, father, husband, grandfather, Neapolitan and entrepreneur Pietro Fioriniello died tragically in an accident on February 3, 2024. He leaves behind an unimaginable grief to his large family. We can’t find any words. But as he used to say ‘la vita e bella, ciao!'” reads a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account.

Alexandra Zazzi: “Lovely and cheerful”

Cato Hellerenwaiter in “Persta dejten” also describes the sadness:

“Pietro my friend, we have had many good memories and laughs on the recordings, rest in peace,” he writes on Instagram.

The TV profile and the chef Alexandra Zazzi knew Fioriniello for a long time.

– We worked together when I ran the Pasta Panini restaurant in Gothenburg. It’s hard to take in what happened. I was completely shocked when I read about it. He was such an incredibly energetic, lovely and jovial person. It is so tragic what happened and all my thoughts go out to his family, she tells GP.

“A spreader of joy”

For the “First date” colleague, the waiter Cato Hellerenthe death notice came as a shock.

– We last spoke last Saturday so when the news came out I thought “it can’t be him?”
Life is so fragile. He was very fond of his family and spoke very well and a lot about them. I really think about his family, he says.

He tells us that Pietro was a happy man with big dreams.

– I remember him as a lovely person. Very Italian. He used to run around and sing and spread a lot of joy in our team, says Cato.

Even the bartender Daniel Meyn describes the grief for his late colleague.

– He was a funny and warm character. All my thoughts are with his loved ones, his wife and children. I got the news yesterday and was completely shocked. It’s terrible and I’m extremely sorry, but above all I think of his family, he says.
