Next month, Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) will receive the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.
Since 1984, the award has been presented in memory of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and is presented to individuals who show courage and have made a significant effort in human rights work.
But not everyone thinks the Duke and Duchess deserve the prize.
British TV profile Piers Morgan (57) believes it is “disgusting” and “outrageous” that Harry and Meghan are now being “rewarded” for badmouthing the royal family in public.

– The idea that these swindlers, who have left the royal service, have left Britain and fled their royal duties with hundreds of dollars in their back pockets… The idea that they are being hailed as heroes in the United States by people like the American royal family … It disgusts me, says the 57-year-old on the talk show ‘Fox and Friends’ – reproduced from Mirror.

Harry and Meghan have previously spoken about their experiences with racism within the royal family and, among other things, said it was concerns about the color of the child’s skin when the couple became parents to three-year-old Archie in 2019.
Morgan, for his part, believes it’s completely wrong for Harry and Meghan to “attack the royal house” and, as mentioned, thinks it’s completely “disgusting” that they should receive an award in the US for it.
According to the 57-year-old, this will create more challenges for Harry’s father King Charles (74) and create more stress than necessary for the royal family. Morgan thinks so too the forthcoming autobiography of the prince it will go hard over the new king, who is still in mourning following the death of his mother earlier this year.
Morgan is especially critical of Meghan, and so is he have been several times in the past.
– She was a mediocre actress who got married to a family member, brought our favorite prince to the US, and now spends all of her time attacking the monarchy. And I’m sorry, but as a royalist and someone who loves this country, I find it outrageous that it is now being given honor and credit, signed by the Kennedy family. Honestly, I’m speechless, Morgan rages.

– I was brave
Morgan is also critical of Kerry Kennedy, thus helping decide who will receive the award. He believes he is tarnishing his father’s memory by giving the award in his honor to Harry and Meghan.
The late senator’s daughter, for her part, clearly deserves the award.
– They came out against the oldest institution in Britain’s history and told them what they were doing wrong, that they can’t have structural racism and that they need to understand mental health, he told Spanish vanity against the background of the elections.
He describes Harry and Meghan’s choice as “courageous”:
– They knew there would be consequences if they did. They would be ostracized, they would lose their family and position, and people would blame them for it. Yet they did, because they couldn’t live with themselves if they didn’t ask themselves the questions.
– They were brave in taking this step, says the 63-year-old.
