The post of first president of the Court of Auditors has been vacant since last January, at the end of Didier Migaud’s mandate.

The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron will appoint the former European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici as head of the Court of Auditors, reports on Saturday May 30, the Sunday Journal.

The post of first president of the Court of Auditors has been vacant since the end, last January, of the mandate of Didier Migaud, appointed in 2010 by Nicolas Sarkozy.

Since the departure of Didier Migaud, the interim of the functions of first president has been ensured by the dean of the presidents of the chambers, Sophie Moati.
