Pursuing, Pierre Dimba revealed that 100% of the blood bags collected are systematically tested VIH PAGE, viral hepatitis (B and C), syphilis and blood typing ABO/RH in accordance with WHO recommendations.
Taking the floor in turn, Doctor Jean-Marie Vianney Maurice Yameogo, WHO representative in Côte d’Ivoire thanked the blood donors and then returned to the current challenge which is the fight against maternal mortality, and self-sufficiency in blood products which challenges. “Self-sufficiency in blood products is a planetary requirement,” he added.
