« It’s a good idea. There are many Ligue 2 lovers. Ligue 2 is special. We can say that it is a championship that smells of merguez. But there are many players who have come through this division and are performing at a very high level. I think of Kante and Mahrez. The boys are in the top 30 every time in the Ballon d’Or. They were discovered in Ligue 2. Ligue 2 is a very difficult league. It deserves to be broadcast. Plus, it works because the audience figures are impressive. There is a real question. This season the stadiums are filling up because the clubs that are in Ligue 2 are incredible: Metz, Sochaux, Dijon, Saint-Etienne, Bordeaux… It makes no sense!
