Immediately after the end of Big Brother VIP 5, a very lucky period began for Pierpaolo Pretelli. In addition to having met what is probably the woman of his life in the House of reality TV, the Calabrian-born model has seen his popularity grow significantly. It is no coincidence that he was called by Rai to attend “Tale e cui show” in the months immediately following. Shortly after, another equally important proposal arrived for him: to have a regular presence at “Domenica In”, alongside a veteran of Italian TV like Mara Venier. However, in the first part of the television season, Giulia Salemi’s boyfriend did not convince the most demanding audience of Rai Uno and over time he changed his role: initially he had to be the protagonist of a very demanding game, then he was entrusted with the Musichiere. and finally he limited himself to acting as a ‘valet’ to Aunt Mara. In short, without malice, in fact he never really found his dimension within the Sunday program.
As his fans will remember, at the beginning of January he was excluded from the first seasonal episode of “Domenica In”. Officially it was said that due to the frightening circulation of the virus during the Christmas period, the production decided to bring “as few people as possible” to the studio. Pretelli was left at home on that occasion. For many it was a clear signal: the former gieffino had an important but not indispensable role in the transmission. In January he returned to his place on a couple of occasions, until February 6, in the special episode dedicated to Sanremo. In the following two Sundays he was not seen in the studio and there was no explanation in this regard, either from him or from Venier or other insiders. What happened? Mouths tight on the issue and many doubts from fans of him. It is equally true that Pretelli himself never spoke ill of Domenica In nor did he launch any digs that could confirm any quarrels or disagreements.
TVBlog today dedicated an article to the question, entitled “What happened to Pierpaolo Pretelli?”. Massimo Galanto points out that the 31-year-old has been absent from the studio for two weeks. If this Sunday afternoon does not appear on Rai Uno, then it is likely that he is no longer part of the plans of Mara Venier and the authors. The most probable hypothesis, according to TVBlog, is that from now on the commitments of the ‘valet’ to the broadcast of Rai Uno will be considerably reduced and that he will be broadcasting ‘more and more rarely’. In a recent interview with TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, the model had dedicated words to honey to Mara Venier and had admitted to dreaming of a ‘Fiorello’ life. Probably to be able to crown his aspiration, being a valet at “Domenica In” is not the best choice, therefore the removal of him could also be desired by the person concerned. For now there are only hypotheses: the hope of Prelemi fans is that those in charge will clarify the mysterious absence and professional future of the former gieffino.
