Just hours after Tuesday’s school shooting in Texas, rumors spread online that the perpetrator was a transgender person.

Pictures of three innocent transgender people spread like wildfire on various social media. They were to imagine the perpetrator. The problem was: He was dead. These three were alive. According to NBC News, they immediately went out and tried to disprove the rumors. But it was too late.
