The screen of the Galaxy A72 has according to WinFuture a resolution of 2400×1800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The fingerprint scanner is located behind the screen. The German site has renders of the device. WinFuture regularly publishes specifications and images of new smartphones just before they are announced. The A72 would also be presented soon, but when exactly is not known yet.

There are four cameras on the back. According to WinFuture, the exact details are not yet certain as there are conflicting reports about the specifications. The site thinks it will be a primary camera with a 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel camera with 2x ‘zoom’, a 12-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a macro camera with a 2-megapixel sensor.

The device contains the Snapdragon 720G-soc from Qualcomm and 6GB or 8GB of ram, combined with 128GB or 256GB of flash storage. The plastic housing has a 3.5mm connection and a place for a MicroSD card, but it is also water resistant with an ip67 rating. The phone gets a 5000mAh battery and runs on Android 11 with Samsung’s own shell about it.

According to WinFuture, the Galaxy A72 in Germany will get a price from 449 euros. The device is the successor of the Galaxy A71 that was released in the Netherlands and Belgium at the beginning of last year for 469 euros. Next to the A72 the Galaxy A52 is also expected, a 5G version is also rumored to be coming.
