The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Eure-et-Loir visited the main rescue center of Chartres-Champhol (Eure-et-Loir)Thursday February 24, 2022. Christophe Le Dorven praised the commitment and involvement of the firefighters of Eure-et-Loir, and the missions they carry out with “efficiency and simplicity”.
The Chartres rescue center, located at Champhol, was taken over by the fire brigade at the end of 2015. In 2021, it recorded 6,057 interventions.
Several rescue units
The barracks covers 7,600 m2 and brings together several units, such as divers, the GRIMP or the canine team, with 70 professional firefighters, 50 volunteers including a dozen women.
