Picnic concerts were already a huge success in 2020: More than 30,000 visitors * at 42 concerts in Berlin, Dresden, Cologne, Leipzig and Münster, who celebrated exuberantly but never lost sight of the applicable requirements. Shows outdoors and in the countryside, in a hyper-cozy sunset atmosphere. With top physical catering, because snacks and drinks can be brought from home. In 2021 the lido in Losheim am See will also be there – known for years as the most beautiful concert location in Saarland!

When your friends get in their helicopter, it is not a sign of megalomania but part of their pronounced spider monkey syndrome. Flo, Lukas and Pauli are not particularly good at letting go. They would love to circle over their fans forever and provide them with songs for a lifetime. But it’s not that easy, especially when your listeners reach puberty at some point between the rotor blades. But since the three band members are far behind, they have made a very adult decision: We’ll do it forever. And so it is not surprising that in the eighth year of the band, their fifth studio album sails into the children’s room without any kerosene.
Alvaro Soler am 26. August:
What Alvaro experienced with his music between 2015 and 2019 can safely be called a sensation. GIANT ROOKS am 3. September:
In 2015 singer Frederik Rabe, guitarist Finn Schwieters, bassist Luca Göttner, keyboardist Jonathan Wischniowski and drummer Finn Thomas founded Giant Rooks. Since then, the band has developed with giant strides and has become an indispensable part of the German music scene. It doesn’t matter whether it’s London, Berlin or Milan – the people in front of the stage share a feeling, a mind-set, they perk up at the moment. The attitude of the Giant Rooks is cosmopolitan, as is their sound. The five new Berliners in their early 20s write radiant, euphoric pop songs with just the right touch of knowing melancholy.
JUPITER JONES am 4. September:
We are back. Much more back than you might suspect! We have written an album, have arranged it in loving detail – always defying all Corona impassions – and right now we’re in the process of producing it. Not always in the same room, you know the deal, but with the same goal: to bring out a record that sounds like Jupiter Jones sounds in 2021. Always a bit like in the past, but mostly like today!

Please note when ordering: For the picnic concerts in Losheim am See, the organizers offer places (picnic blankets) for 2, 3 and 4 people. People from a maximum of two different households are allowed per picnic blanket. You have to bring your own picnic blankets
According to current regulations, mouth and nose protection is required when entering and when moving around the festival site (outside the picnic blanket). The general distance and hygiene rules apply.
Popp Concerts always have an eye on the legal requirements and will implement them responsibly! If, contrary to expectations, (individual) concerts cannot take place, you will be reimbursed 100% of the purchase price from the ticketing partner (including all fees).
On the subject of protection of minors:

- Children under 3 years of age are not allowed to attend events, even if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- 3 to 13 year olds are ONLY allowed to attend a concert if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- A visit is possible for people aged 14 to 16 if you have a parent or a person of legal age with you who has been assigned parenting rights (guardian) and you have this transfer with you in writing (mother’s note).
- No further restrictions apply from the age of 16.
