Fylkesvei 35 is completely closed after the powerful collision.
The driver of the van was unconscious and had to be freed from the wreckage with the help of crews from the fire brigade on the spot.
The car is completely damaged.
An air ambulance has now picked up the person, the police report.
– The driver of the truck is not physically injured, Trond Egil Groth states. He is operations manager in the Southeast police district.
The road is completely closed as a result of the accident.
It is not possible to say anything about how long the further work will take before the road can be reopened.
– We just have to finish working on site, says Groth.
The truck has run completely off the road.
The accident happened on Bispeveien near the intersection Kleivaveien / Gjøgriveien, a few kilometers south of Kronlia.
– The driver of the car was injured, and we took the person out of the car immediately after we arrived as the first emergency services. An ambulance was on site right after us, says fire chief Thomas Nordby.
There are signs for detours at Kronlia and Svinevoll.
