Pichardo and Dongmo pursue gold, Mamona the final

The Portuguese Pedro Pablo Pichardo, in the triple jump, and Auriol Dongmo, in the shot put, today seek to revalidate their European champion titles on an indoor track, in Istanbul, where Patrícia Mamona is starting to defend her scepter.

Pichardo appears in the final scheduled for 20:35 local (17:35 in Lisbon) with the security of the new ‘indoor’ national record that he set on Thursday, when he jumped 17.48 meters, in the first attempt.
