Piazza Affari improves, Mps sprints
The Ftse Mib index improves in Piazza Affari, up 0.8% to 27,271 points. The differential between German 10-year BTPs and Bunds fell below 180 points (179.5 points) with the Italian annual yield down by 2.4 points to 4.247% and the German one by 0.1 points to 2.449%. Crude oil was weak (Wti -0.4% to 72.25 dollars a barrel) and gold (-0.75% to 1,947.9 dollars an ounce) instead gas jumped (+5.58% to 27. 8 euros per MWh), with analysts who see “growing risks” for next winter. The dollar was down, trading at 0.93 euros, 139.83 yen and 0.8 pounds. Mps is back in the light (+2.23%), on the long wave of the flashback of the merger hypothesis with Bper (+0.16%). Unicredit (+1.45%9, Intesa (+1.3%) and Banco Bpm (+1.05%) also accelerate. The increase in vehicle sales in India pushes Cnh (+2.3%), Stellantis (+1.98%), Pirelli (+1.33%) and, marginally, Iveco (+0.6%), while Ferrari (-0.14%) appears to have little movement. Few minus signs, limited to Interpump (-0.46%), Recordati (-0.22%) and Terna (-0.18%).Slight increases for Saipem (+0.15%) and Tim (+0.2%), which run Eni (+0.95%) and Enel (+1.11%) are doing better.
