A fire broke out in a shopping center in Piaseczno near Warsaw. Firefighters evacuated customers and employees, a total of about 250 people. The fire was brought under control and the rooms were then removed from smoke.
The fire occurred in the warehouse space of the Designer Outlet shopping mall in Piaseczno, near Puławska and Energetyczna streets. – There is a lot of smoke inside, smoke is coming out – said Artur Węgrzynowicz, a reporter for tvnwarszawa.pl.

We asked the fire brigade for details. Firefighters received a report about the incident at 10:01 a.m. – There was a fire in one of the stalls. The entire shopping center was evacuated. There is a lot of smoke inside. Firefighters reached the site of the fire inside the building. The fire is under control, said Junior Brig. Łukasz Darmofalski from the fire brigade in Piaseczno.
As he added in another interview with tvnwarszawa.pl, there were no injuries in the fire. – According to the information provided to us by security, about 250 people were evacuated from the center – said Darmofalski.
14 fire brigades participated in the action.
The fire brigade ended its operations around 3:15 p.m. – The rooms have been smoke-free. The facility was handed over to the center manager with a recommendation to inspect the electrical installation and technical parts. The decision to open the facility rests with the manager, summed up Łukasz Darmofalski.
